This program is from the October 15, 1971, meeting of the Putnam City HS Pirates and the Oklahoma City Southeast HS Spartans. Inside are individual photos of both players (see photos). STEVE LARGENT - NFL Hall-of-Fame wide receiver played 14 season with the Seattle Seahawks. At the time of his retirement he held several all-time career receiving records. Largent was also U.S. Congressman from Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1994 until 2002.
PAT RYAN - NFL quarterback for the New York Jets from 1978 to 1990. Ryan only started 19 games during his 13 year, 145 game NFL career, but is widely considered to be the best backup quarterbacks in NFL history.
