Amazing survivor from the Golden Age of Oklahoma Sooners football (47-Game Winning Streak 1953-1957). This rare ceramic ashtray depicts Memorial Stadium in 1955 before the south end zone bleachers were built (1957). Measures 4-3/8" x 3-1/2" x 2". Excellent condition. Shows some minor wear from use. Marked on the bottom "(c) G.N. & R. 1955 / NORMAN, OKLA". A few slight chips on a couple of edges. No other chips, repairs, or stains.
