Sarah Grahams Pebble collection was inspired by the irregular yet perfect shape of the small stones one might find on the bed of a river. With this collection she was also striving to design a necklace that would have the easy wearabilty of a simple chain, but one unlike any other you have seen. Thus the idea of laying the links side by side. The black links are oxidized cobalt chrome. Cobalt chrome is used primarily in the medical and dental industry, and is valued for it's durability. It also happens to be hypo-allergenic and stainless. She oxidized the cobalt chrome to achieve a deep black color that is so striking against gold.
